Servus...

Today I am finally going to begin blogging. Why? I basically want to do some writing and this seems to be a fun way to do it. Hopefully I will continue to keep it, but you really have to actually start something if you are going to keep it up!

What the heck is the title of this blog? Well, it's a traditional Latin phrase: "There is no disputing good taste." It's something I learned from my dad and he learned from his. It's kind of my motto, although truthfully I actually enjoy arguing about what constitutes "good taste." I find it more satisfying than arguing about politics...

So today, my lovely wife and I openned all our windows, ate a lovely seafood pasta dinner, and listened to the radio. I happened to hear a Handel Trio Sonata and was reminded just how much I love suspensions, hemiolae, and circle of fifths progressions. That is really all I had to say today, so until next time...
